FAQs

  • How do I book?
    1. Inquire to see if your date is available. 2. Keep an eye out for an email from me with availability, a quote and next steps. 3. Sign your contract and pay the deposit. 4. Celebrate securing your event glam!
  • What is included when I book with you?
For my brides and bridal parties, full face of long lasting makeup and any hairstyle up, down, or half/half. Every person that sits in my chair for makeup receives a lip to keep for touch ups the rest of the night and false eyelashes are included along with application. The bride is always last to go and received a full tube of lipstick. Once I am finished styling the bride, I do brief touch ups on the whole wedding party before I pack up!
  • What are the policies?
When you sign a contract, you are agreeing to the following policies: 1. Payment is due by Client listed on the contract, 5-7 days in advance of each scheduled service. So approximately one week prior to your wedding. 2. No amount of services can be subtracted from a signed contract. If someone drops out from client party, the service must be paid for whether the spot is filled or not. 3. A late fee of $50 per 30 minute delay is to be paid by client. 4. A kit fee of $25 is applied if and ONLY if anyone from client party asks to have, borrow or use anything from Provider's kit. Kit is for provider use only. 5. Each client (and client party members) must have clean skin, clean hair, and ready to rock at agreed upon timeslot.
  • What if I want my wedding party to pay for their own service? Can they all pay you separately?
I accept 1 payment from the person listed on the contract. If your bridal party is paying for their services each themselves, what I recommend is having them all Venmo you for their service that way when it is time for you to pay your invoice, the money is already in your Venmo account and you can pay your invoice that way. Thank you for understanding!
  • What will my Preview Session be like?
Your preview session is when we get together to practice the look you are envisioning for yourself on your wedding day. Prior to our session you will have already filled out the Bridal Inspo Form so that I can review it before you arrive. During our session we will discuss your vision even further in detail! This is great because it gives you a chance to see your look before the wedding. It gives you confidence when you show up for your big day, knowing what to expect from your look. It is also a chance to give feedback on what we want to tweak and do differently day-of to make it the best it can be, the way you like it!
  • When should I schedule my Preview Session?
For my brides who have a signed bridal contract and paid deposit, I strictly do previews 3-7 weeks out from your wedding date. Trust me, this helps the both of us. A.) My skills evolve so much over time. B.) You may not want the same thing 8 months out and 4 weeks out. This saves you time, money, and helps you be decisive. C.) This keeps your look fresh on my brain which only benefits us both. I do a bunch of faces and things can start to blur together. 4-6 weeks is the perfect amount of time. I will send you an email months in advance to wedding with Preview Session dates/times to choose from!
  • What if I have a bridal booking and did not book a Preview Session?
For my brides who are an elopement or destination wedding and could not/do not need or want a Preview Session, I will have you fill out my Bridal Inspo Form like everyone else and then we will schedule a Bridal Inspo Call. This is a 20 minute video call to chat about your vision and some specific questions I will have about the desired look. This will eliminate the need to do-so on wedding day, keeping your day on schedule and smooth flowing! Plus it's nice to meet you before I show up for the wedding! This will occur in the same timeframe of a traditional Preview Session, which is 3-7 weeks in advance of the elopement or wedding.
  • What is the difference between full glam, soft glam, and natural makeup?
Full glam- full coverage, typically contoured and highlighted to the heavens, a more dramatic eyeshadow look with long or bold lashes and brows to balance. A wing or distinctly lined eye to blend. Natural or light makeup- (Not to be confused with neutral makeup, using mostly brown and natural colors, but coverage level can vary) Light to medium coverage where your skin shows through still, the slightest bit of bronzer/blush, usually minimal to no eyeliner, a naked lash that adds length or no lash at all, light and very blended eyeshadow application to mimic natural bone shape and add depth; a light layer of lipstick or gloss. Soft glam- medium to full coverage, somewhere in the middle where contour still rules but perhaps not as deep; maybe a wing but smoked out. A fluffy to full lash for a subtle drama and usually a more natural lip with defined edges. Blushing cheeks for a youthful look and a shimmering or matte eyeshadow look that can vary in color intensity. Keep in mind makeup is made to enhance your already beautiful features. Nothing will ever look unnatural, we even want our full glam to look to be well put together, diffused and not cakey. There are definitely distinct levels to make up application. And keep in mind, makeup for camera should be more than what you are probably used to or wear in your day-to-day! It’s important to trust your artist with your vision and how that translates to camera and lasts all day!
  • How will my skincare play a role in my makeup application?
Skincare will make or break a makeup look. Dry skin? The makeup won’t soak in naturally and will sit on top. Oily skin? Your oils can come through the makeup. Dehydrated? You’ll know it! Make sure you really prioritize taking care of your skin, consult with a dermatologist and I always recommend facials and other med spa treatments to give your skin some extra TLC.
  • Do I need hair extensions?
This is totally dependent upon style and personal goals! If you want more length or volume in a down or half up/half down style, then yes. If your hair doesn’t hold a curl well and you want to wear your hair down, then probably yes. If you want one of those big and full bridal braids, then yes. If you want an updo, but your hair is relatively short, yes. Does everyone need them? No, and especially if you don’t want them, then do you, sis! But I will always be honest about whether or not I think your desired style is doable without them. Just chat with me if you are unsure and I can guide you in the right direction.
  • How should I prep my hair for wedding day & preview session?
Please arrive with clean, dry hair. I do not mind if it air dries or you blow dry it. For an additional step, it would great it you put some mousse in it prior to drying to aid in root lift and curl memory. Dirty hair is not better, your natural oils can really hinder a style or curls. Skin should also be clean, and brows well maintained. Thank you!
