My journey into the hair and makeup industry was a little unexpected, but now that I’m here, I can’t imagine doing anything else. I’ve been so welcomed and fulfilled by this work, and it continues to inspire me.
I used to be a professional dancer for cruise lines and musical theatre companies, and in 2020, I realized it was time to pivot. Back in Atlanta, I was deciding what the next chapter of my life would be, and hair and makeup just felt right. I brought with me the skills I had honed on stage and joined a bridal team, where I got my start in the industry.
I was fortunate to have an incredible community of artists and a mentor who contributed to my growth. Eager to learn and improve, I invested heavily in online education and certification courses in both hair and makeup, and eventually went back to school for cosmetology to complete a well-rounded education.
Today, I serve brides in upstate South Carolina, Georgia and beyond. I pride myself on being versatile across event types and climates, from the Rockies out west in Montana and Wyoming, to the humid coastlines of the Carolinas, and the crisp air of the Highlands, North Carolina mountains. My love for travel and adventure has blended seamlessly with my work, allowing me to create incredible destination weddings, with more to come!
